These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all sales made by The Chippy Box Co (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our customers (“you”, “your”) via our website, by email, or any other agreed ordering method.

By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before ordering.

1. Who We Are

The Chippy Box Co is part of Mariner Packaging Ltd, a UK-based packaging manufacturer and supplier specialising in fish and chip boxes, paper bags, greaseproof paper, and related food packaging products.

2. Scope of Terms

These Terms apply to all sales of goods made by The Chippy Box Co to UK customers.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, no other terms (including those on your own purchase order or correspondence) will apply.

3. Product Information and Availability

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and prices are accurate at the time of publication.
However, minor variations may occur in colour, dimensions, or design due to manufacturing tolerances or material availability.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue or substitute products at any time.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase goods from us.
An order is deemed accepted only when we issue an Order Confirmation (in writing or electronically).

For custom-printed or bespoke products, no order is final until artwork and proofs are approved in writing by you.

5. Prices and Payment

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Delivery charges will be applied where applicable.

Payment is due at the point of order, unless a trade account or credit terms have been agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any order if payment is not received or credit limits are exceeded.

6. Custom & Bespoke Products

Custom-printed or bespoke packaging items are manufactured specifically to your approved design or artwork.
Once artwork approval is received and production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded except in the case of manufacturing fault.

It is your responsibility to:

• Check and approve all proofs and specifications carefully.

• Ensure that all designs, logos, and artwork supplied do not infringe third-party rights.

We accept no liability for errors in approved artwork or customer-supplied materials.

7. Delivery

We will make every reasonable effort to deliver goods on time; however, delivery dates are estimates only.
Delays due to courier services, supply chain issues, or events beyond our control do not entitle you to cancel or claim compensation.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.
Ownership of goods transfers only once full payment has been received.

8. Returns & Refunds

In summary:

• Custom-made goods are non-refundable unless faulty or incorrect.

• Stock items may be returned within 14 days if unused, unopened, and in resalable condition.

• Faulty or damaged goods must be reported within 7 working days of delivery.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Chippy Box Co shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including loss of profit, goodwill, or business).

• Any loss arising from delays or interruptions beyond our control.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied under the specific order in question.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, and content created by or for The Chippy Box Co remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our designs or materials for other purposes without written permission.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in fulfilling any obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) acts of God, strikes, material shortages, transport delays, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising under them are governed by English law.
Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
